Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences is the first innovative institution of higher education in the agrarian profile in Ukraine, which provides for a dual form of obtaining higher professional education in the agrarian field.
The purpose of the educational activity of the University is to reproduce the intellectual potential of the state by training highly qualified specialists on the national and international labor markets for scientific and educational institutions, state authorities and management, enterprises of all forms of ownership at all levels of higher education (Doctor of Science, Doctor of Philosophy (Candidate of Science) , master’s degree, bachelor’s degree, junior bachelor’s degree) in all areas of education (according to international and domestic classifications of education).
The founder of the University is the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine – the main agrarian scientific institution of the country with highly qualified personnel potential, a wide network of structural divisions in all regions of the country, a powerful material, technical and educational and scientific base.
The educational process at the Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine is provided by more than 50 experienced professors, associate professors of graduate and basic departments of KAU NAAS, leading specialists of structural divisions of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Among the teachers, 95% have academic degrees and titles, in particular, 37% have the titles of Doctor of Sciences and Professor; 12 persons are valid members and corresponding members of state and industry academies; more than 20 people have honorary titles of honored figures; 4 persons are honored workers of education and laureates of state awards.
The educational process is carried out in Ukrainian and English.

The institution of higher education of the Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences ensured the availability of educational facilities for persons with disabilities and other groups with reduced mobility, including unimpeded access to the building, classrooms (groups) and other infrastructure in accordance with state building norms, rules and standards. The procedure for accompanying (providing assistance) persons with disabilities and other less mobile population groups has been developed at the Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences.
